Marital Values of the World:

Revenge: you hurt me, I’ll hurt you. 

Pride: most arguments find their root here. Pride rises up and becomes ugly. 

Lying: is like always having money in your pocket to get you out of a jam. Easy to use and it’s an endless supply. 

Jealousy: “Who’s going? Who did you talk to?” Always worrying about the other person. 

Lust: Porn—your spouse won’t be airbrushed, photo-shopped, and she won’t be paid to fulfill your fantasy.  

Worry: About status. “Am I good enough, nice enough, hot enough? What will we talk about? What if he tries to touch me? What if she doesn’t allow me to touch her?” These are just a few values of the world…that are so normal that we don’t see them as bad…and, these values are the ones that are destroying relationships.
