Join Jon’s Conversation

So I found this sneaky little article about a guy who lives in a cave in the Jordanian desert and rents out his couch to online to travelers.  And why not?

So why is this oddity of travel relevant?  The man's cave happens to be in the valley of Petra.  And no, I'm not talking about the master's of 90's Christian rock.   What I am talking about is this past weeks sermon at LC3.  During the sermon, Pastor Jim alluded to Petra as the place the nation of Israel will go for protection during the tumultuous years of the tribulation.  Anyway, interesting article, and cool concept of "couch-surfing”:  (click picture to follow the link)

Of course, this article begs the question:  What would your ideal apocalyptic place of refuge be?  Of course mine would have to be the international space station....Just sit back and watch it burn!
